I am working through my Quantitative Methods coursework today. Got up to a section on Index Numbers, which discussed how price indexes such as the NASDAQ, CPI and Dow Jones are calculated.

The last few times I have been through the Domain Tunnel on Melbourne’s Citylink, only two of the three lanes have been open. A radio announcement states that the left lane is closed so that emergency vehicles can access the West Gate freeway or the tunnel if required.
